NRCS Logo and UsageThe logo is available for download in three different formats. The "high quality" version is in TIFF format; because the image is of higher quality, the file size will be larger and take longer to download. If you don't need the higher quality image, choose the GIF format; this one is smaller and will download faster. EPS format is a vector drawing that can be resized without limit, but again the file size is a little bigger, and some applications will not have filters allowing you to import EPS. Don't know what format you need? It depends mostly on how you plan to use the image. If the image is to be used for printed materials, you should download and use the TIF file, or possibly EPS file; however, if you plan to use the image in a "web" environment or for a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation, you should choose the .gif file. The colors of the NRCS logo are Pantone 300 (blue) and Pantone Green. Pantone Green has no number: it is one of Pantone's basic colors.
The NRCS Signature, a composite including the NRCS and USDA logos with the organization names spelled out, is available for download below in the same formats.
Three possible treatments for the NRCS signature are shown below, one with the full color signature on a plain white background, and two with the signature in a single lighter color knocked out of a darker background or photograph background. The first of these knockout versions includes the full color USDA symbol isolated on a rectangular white background. Download Instructions:
