Larry DiVito is currently in his third season as Head Groundskeeper for the Washington Nationals, who begin play at their new facility, Nationals Park, this spring in Washington, DC. Now entering his fourteenth season in professional baseball, Larry began a career in sports turf in 1995 as Head Groundskeeper for the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox in Rhode Island. After seven seasons with Pawtucket, Larry moved to the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he served as the Grounds Crew Supervisor for four seasons at Dodger Stadium. In 2006, Larry took on the challenge at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC, where he managed a multi-use field for two seasons for the Nationals and DC United of Major League Soccer. Originally from California, Larry is a 1993 graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Sociology/ Urban Studies.
