The mission of the Federal Library and Information Center Committee (FLICC) is to foster excellence in federal library and information services through interagency cooperation and to provide guidance and direction for the Federal Library and Information Network (FEDLINK).

These awards recognize and commend outstanding, innovative and sustained achievements during the Fiscal Year 2008 by a federal library or information center, a federal librarian and a federal library technician.

FEDLINK Update
We are pleased to announce that after examining program growth, realized savings through program management and program reserves, FLICC/FEDLINK's oversight groups recommend a 1 percent fee reduction for transfer pay services in Fiscal Year 2009. This went into effect on October 1, 2008.
