Description: USDA Southern Forest Experiment Station tested drying southern pine studs in air cross-circulated at velocity of 930 fpm and temperature of 240°F; wet-bulb depression was 80°F. Under same regime, 1" boards dried in 1 0 hours, plus time to condition.
