Volunteer

Consider volunteering to serve ASA-CSSA-SSSA in a variety of capacities, which include committee service, division activities, or serving as a journal reviewer/editor. The presidents-elect make appointments, and terms generally begin after the Annual Meetings.

  • A Soils Exhibit called Dig It! The Secrets of Soil opened at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC on July 19, 2008. The display will have a 1.5 year run at the museum before becoming a traveling exhibit to be displayed at 10 venues across the country. Dig It! features a display of state monoliths, interactive exhibits, and models explaining the properties and uses of soil.
