FLOWER SHOWS 2009
The Centennial Garden Club will present a Small Standard Flower Show, Awakening, at Manassas Clay, 9122 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia. Open to the public on March 12 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, March 13 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and March 14 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Containers from Manassas Clay will be used for the designs in the Flower Show. A Standard Flower Show, Cinderella's Ball, will be presented by Rock Spring Garden Club on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Little Falls Presbyterian Church, 6025 Little Falls Road, Arlington, VA 22207. Open to the public from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
The Garden Clubs of District IV will present a Standard Flower Show, 25 Years of Beauty and Art, at the Strathmore Hall Mansion, 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, Md, on April 30 and May 1, 2009. The Flower Show will be open to the public on Thursday from 1:30 - 4:00 pm and Friday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Admission is free.
A Small Standard Flower Show will be presented by Great Falls Garden Club on May 1 - 2, 2009 at the Great Falls Library, Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, VA. Open to the public on Friday (2 - 6 PM) and Saturday (10 AM - 4:00 PM). A plant sale will be held on Saturday in conjunctin with the flower show. A Small Standard Flower Show, Blossoming Outside the Box, is to be presented by Dominion Valley Garden Club on May 5, 2009, at Fairfax Station Railroad Museum, 11200 Fairfax Station Road, Fairfax Station, VA 22039. Open to the public from 1:30 to 4:00 PM. Tanta-Cove Garden Club will present a Standard Flower Show, Flights of Fancy, on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at St. John's Episcopal Church Broad Creek, 9801 Livingston Road, Fort Washington, Maryland. The Flower Show will be open to the public from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Admission is free.
