Most of this activity involves post-graduate level instruction for individuals who are seeking to develop their knowledge and skill in their respective professional areas.

Thank you for considering Virginia Tech as a possible provider of your professional development needs. For more information on upcoming non-credit programs, visit our calendar of programs. For more information on degree programs, please refer to our off campus centers.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course

The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Course is offered in partnership with the Center for Innovation in Construction Safety and Health Research. The Center for Innovation in Construction Safety and Health Research facilitates injury, illness, accident and fatality reduction through applied research to practice and training. Civil War Weekend
March 13-15, 2009
The Civil War was the defining event in American history. It was the climax to everything that had gone before in the country's development, just as it marked the beginning of all that would become the United States as we know it. Because of these and many other factors, the 1861-1865 conflict remains the most vital and popularly re-lived period in the American past. The close connection of the land-grant university with Civil War history is reflected in this year's program. Four of the five speakers are associated with Virginia Tech. A respected member of the Roanoke Civil War Round Table rounds out a varied and hopefully informative symposium.
