Some recordings were made of Gullah dialects found on the Georgia and South Carolina coast and recordings include narratives of former slaves. Several recordings document other languages and regions. The collection includes project correspondence, transcriptions, and index cards.
Notes: Sound recordings:: in English, French, German, Gullah, Hebrew, Hidatsa, Passamaquoddy, and Zulu.
