Eddie Pennington, thumbpicking-style guitarist, perfomed in concert with Alonzo Pennington, Linda Lay, David Lay, and David McLaughlin of the Appalachian Trail band. The collection includes an interview with Eddie Pennington conducted by Bob Gates, director of the Kentucky Folklife Program; sound and video recordings of the concert, sound recordings of the interview; black-and-white contact sheet and negatives; publicity and administrative materials.
