IIE at EDGE Conference 2008
Demtew Teferra, Ford Foundation International Fellowships Fund's Director for Africa/Middle East presents at EDGE The EDGE 2008 conference was the collaborative initiative of prestigious organizations from India and abroad focusing on Emerging Directions in Global Education which took place from March 3-5, 2008 at India Habitat Center, New Delhi.

Atlas welcomes ANUIES, new Mexican partner
Project Atlas is pleased to welcome its newest partner, ANUIES (National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions) from Mexico. The organization has provided Project Atlas with updated data on Mexico as a place of destination for international students.     Project Atlas' flagship data resource, classified by the following two groups:

    Global Destinations include 25 top global destination countries around the globe. Data are available on domestic and international higher education enrollments and top sending countries.

    Places of Origin cover 75 countries that are major players in sending students across borders. Country profile data include human development indicators, literacy and education indices, and top host destinations for study abroad.

The Open Doors report includes comprehensive and detailed data on international students, scholars in the US, and American students who study abroad, gathered in an annual census supported by the U.S. Department of State.
