Office of Administrative Services
The Office of Administrative Services (OAS) exercises the responsibilities of the Executive Officer, NIAID, and directs, coordinates, and conducts the administrative activities of the Institute by providing advice, guidance, and services in the areas of:
- Administrative management for the extramural, intramural, and Office of the Director organizations of the Institute
- Management analysis
- Acquisition management services
OAS responsibilities include:
- Advising the Director, Deputy Director, Associate Director for Management and Operations, and Division Directors on developments in management and their implications and effects on program management
- Developing policies on administrative management and preparing and issuing procedures and guidelines to implement administrative policies and requirements
- Directing, coordinating, and administering the government ethics program of the Institute, which includes overseeing financial disclosure reporting and ethics training for staff.
