As President-elect Barack Obama prepares to settle into the Oval Office, Nature looks at the legacy of George W. Bush's administration, and the emerging policies of his successor. Bush's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief was perhaps his finest hour; addressing nuclear proliferation was not; other areas saw mixed success.
