The Odense University Pharmacoepidemiological Database (OPED)
Description
The Odense University Pharmacoepidemiological Database is one of two large prescription registries in Denmark and covers a stable population that is representative of the Danish population as a whole. The inclusion of a unique and permanent personal identifier allows for the compilation of longitudinal drug histories and the linking of prescription data to other population-based registries in Denmark. The registry has been described as a "useful new data source for pharmacoepidemiological studies," but there was no specific mention of the inclusion of information on cancer-related outcomes.
