Three new software packages released by the PFGRC, June 9, 2008

  • Magnolia, a microarray data management and export system for PFGRC microarray users (non-Government link).
  • Ginkgo, an analysis tool for CGH and expression microarray data (non-Government link). 
  • The APEX Quantitative Proteomics Tool, a software tool that computes protein abundance values based on standard liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) proteomics datasets (non-Government link). . 

Release of the genome assembly of Ixodes scapularis to GenBank on January 22, 2008

NIAID has funded the sequencing, assembly and annotation of the genome of the Lyme disease tick, Ixodes scapularis, through its Microbial Sequencing Centers and Bioinformatics Resource Center.

New DNA Microarrays Available Now, Nov. 11, 2007

The NIAID PFGRC has made new microarrays available for P. vivax, V. parahaemolyticus, V. vulnificus and C. jejuni.

Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus annotation coming soon. Assembly information here, March 25, 2008

NIAID has funded the sequencing and annotation of the Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus JHB genome through its Microbial Sequencing Centers and Bioinformatics Resource Center.
