Enter the 2009 AAM Museum Publications Design Competition

Send your museum’s best publications produced between Jan. 1, 2008, and Dec. 31, 2008. All museums are eligible to enter AAM’s annual design competition. The winners, determined by a jury, will be featured in the July/August 2009 issue of Museum and at the annual meeting in

Philadelphia .

To enter Pub Comp, please read the following information carefully, and make sure your submissions are postmarked no later than March 15, 2009. Good luck!

All entries were eligible for the Frances Smyth-Ravenel Prize for Excellence in Publication Design, Known as the Franny. In 2006, the judges awarded the Franny to the Smithsonian American Art Museum for the book America’s Art, designed by Karen Siatras, and published by Harry Abrams, New York.
