ANN'S INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPTI just didn't think I could be having a heart attack, I didn't expect it was going to happen to me. I was overweight and had high cholesterol but thought I was in good health. I'd had diabetes about four years but I had no idea that it was a risk factor for heart disease. Most women don't know they're at risk for heart disease. Most of my friends do not think it could happen to them. I have several friends who have a lot of the same risk factors that I do, but they're just not tuned in to them. They need to know that and they need to take better care of themselves.
