ISSUES ADDRESSED: Responding to the HIV/AIDS crisis, similarities and differences among people of colour communities. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To expose and describe how dominant cultures impact different communities of colour within HIV/AIDS work, and share trends of responding which are effective. RESULTS: HIV/AIDS issues present more similarities than differences which exist among these people of colour communities as they respond to the crisis. LESSONS LEARNED: Within these groups, sharing experiences are important ways of communicating HIV/AIDS information which produces dynamic results when seeking supportive environments for responding to community needs.
