SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS for RFA-TW-06-004

All expenses related to trainee participation in the program should be itemized on the PHS Form 398 (NRSA substitute budget pages 4 & 5) in the appropriate categories.  All expenses related to faculty participation in the program should be itemized on the PHS Form 398 (budget form pages 4 & 5) in the appropriate categories.  The total direct costs of the trainee participation budget should be identified on PHS Form 398 (budget form pages 4 & 5) in the "Other" category.  The combining of the budgets will allow reviewers and FIC staff to review a composite budget of all costs.
