The NCI Lung and Aerodigestive Cancer Faculty fosters enhanced intramural translational interactions, identifies and shares strategic resources that will enable relevant Faculty research, serves as a mechanism for improving interactions with comparable research teams of extramural investigators, collaborates with NCI Lung SPOREs (Specialized Programs of Research Excellence), focuses on problems of mutual interest, and fosters participation in clinical trials.
How To Join
NCI intramural principal investigators may join any of the Faculties/Working Groups in which they wish to participate. This Faculty also encourages senior scientists/clinicians, staff scientists/clinicians, and postdoctoral fellows to participate. Membership is also open to local NCI extramural science administrators.
