Dr. Tom Jacobs is the Program Director for the Brain Tumor and Experimental Stroke Programs in the Neuroenvironment (NET) cluster. Current areas of scientific interest include research on the Blood-Brain Barrier, Glial and Glioma Cell Biology, Stroke and Brain Tumors. His previous research experiences were in spinal cord injury, stroke, and vascular mechanisms of ischemia. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in Physiology.
