Street Children and Drug Abuse: Social and Health Consequences

WHY:Drug abuse is one of the problems encountered by street children around the world. At this meeting, experts will discuss ongoing research on street children and the relationship to drug abuse, violence, and HIV and other infectious diseases; identify effective intervention programs; and develop plans for continuing international research to address this serious issue.
