The Navajo AIDS Network (NAN) is an American Indian HIV prevention and AIDS service organization with a primary constituency of American Indians living on or near the Navajo Nation in western New Mexico and eastern Arizona. NAN delivers culturally competent HIV prevention services and direct care services to a diverse range of constituents. NAN began as a volunteer organization in 1990, providing training and assistance to health care providers and HIV-positive Natives on or near the Navajo Nation.
