Abstract

Corporate Angel Network (CAN) arranges free air transportation for cancer patients, bone marrow donors/recipients, and stem cell donors/recipients traveling to recognized treatment centers throughout the U.S. Patients are flown by CAN's 500 participating corporations, using empty seats on their corporate jets. CAN, a not-for-profit organization, responds to inquiries from the public by telephone, mail, and electronically. Patients must be ambulatory and not on any life-support, such as oxygen or IV. Financial need is not a requirement for eligibility.
