6.  Silenced Gene May Make Temozolomide More Effective for Some Brain Cancer Patients
(Posted: 03/28/2005) - Researchers report in the March 10, 2005, issue of the New England Journal of Medicine that most glioblastoma patients in a 2004 study who survived longer on temozolomide had tumors in which a particular gene was turned off.

7.  Young Children with Medulloblastoma May Be Able to Avoid Post-Surgery Radiotherapy
(Posted: 03/21/2005) - Children younger than three with a kind of brain cancer called medulloblastoma may be effectively treated with chemotherapy alone after surgery, according to a report released by the New England Journal of Medicine on March 10, 2005.
