MMI CellCut®

Laser Microdissection

The following equipment and supplies are available for use by NIEHS scientists in conducting their research. The equipment and supply capabilities are listed for easy reference.

The Molecular Machines & Industries (MMI) (http://www.molecular-machines.com/homepage.php?start=produkte) Exit NIEHS Website CellCut® instrument employs a solid state UV laser (355nm) to cut cellular targets out of the PET foil base enabling complete microdissection by isolation cap technology. After microdissection is complete, the targeted cells are lysed from the cap for molecular analyses. The MMI CellCut® has fiber optic fluorescent capabilities with Dapi, FITC and TRITC filters available to the NIEHS community.
