Summary: This film presents the step-by-step procedure for performing a root canal. It details three essentials to successful root canal: 1) removing of every portion of pulp in an aseptic environment, 2) eradicating every pathogenic focus, and 3) hermetically sealing every canal including the entrance to every foramen. This film also shows progress through periodicroentgenograms by using gold wires. The last frame includes dentist’s handwritten remark and signature. The magnifying glass through which the cameraman shot this film is seen in close up shots.
