Cell Biology Group

The Cell Biology Group conducts several ongoing research projects within the Laboratory of Respiratory Biology. For more information, please see the following links to individual project pages.

  • Retinoid-Related Orphan Receptors are a distinct subfamily of nuclear receptors that are involved in a variety of processes such as metabolism, stress response and the production of mature T cells.

  • GLI-Similar (GLIS) is a subfamily of Kr├╝ppel-like zinc finger proteins that plays a role in several illnesses such as diabetes, glaucoma and kidney disease.

  • Ubiquitin-Containing RAP80 is a receptor-associated protein that is involved in important cellular roles such as endocytosis, DNA repair and replication.
