Vaccine Working Group
Mission Statement
The Vaccine Working Group enhances the research efforts within the NCI intramural program toward developing novel vaccines for cancer immunotherapy and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The group brings together members from throughout the Institute with diverse scientific backgrounds to allow cross-fertilization of ideas leading to vaccine development for a variety of cancers and for HIV. The Vaccine Working Group encourages collaborations, identifies organizational and reagent needs for the vaccine community, and helps develop the optimal infrastructure for vaccine development. The end goal is to arrive at novel clinical trial approaches for unique vaccine studies.

How To Join
NCI intramural principal investigators may join any of the Faculties/Working Groups in which they wish to participate. Although membership is intended primarily for NCI intramural principal investigators, some groups also permit other staff members to participate. Membership is also open to local NCI extramural science administrators.

Please check with the Chairperson, Jay Berzofsky, M.D., Ph.D., if you have any questions.

To request membership in this or any NCI Intramural Program, please visit and fill out the Request for Membership Form.
