With this acquisition, Morningstar provides comprehensive data coverage on nearly all publicly listed companies in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as more than 95% of companies by market capitalisation in major European markets and expanding coverage in Asia.
Our equity database includes global fundamental data and historical trading price data, as well as coverage of U.S., UK, and Canadian executives and directors, and thousands of obsolete companies.
Morningstar equity data is collected, managed, and distributed using a state-of-the-art system to provide the highest standards of quality. Our global staff of data analysts monitors the information for accuracy and quickly researches and corrects any discrepancies.
