Genomics Core Facility - (MCF)

Michael W. Krause, Ph.D.

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Microarray Core Facility was established in March 2002 to provide microarray services for investigators within the institute, by establishing a cost recovery unit whose instruments are operated by its staff members. Our Core Laboratory has 2 full-time technologists and 2 full-time computational-database management staff, and is located in Bldg 8, Rm. 1A11. Our goals are to provide high-quality microarray data by using well-established standard operating procedures for microarrays, and internal quality control standards.
