Danger: Keep away from heat sources, sparks & flame. Do not spray on hot engine. Avoid eye contact (etc.) Call physician, emergency room, PCC. Contents under pressure. |
From MSDS
Inhalation: Product may be absorbed through the lungs in sufficient quantity to result in toxic effects. May cause nose, throat and lung irritation. At very high concentrations of vapor, the propellant has been reported to possibly produce heart rhythm irregularities due to sensitization of the heart to adrenaline. Human volunteers, however, exposed repeatedly to hydrocarbon mixture gases at concentrations ranging from 250 to 1000 parts per million exhibited no heart or lung function abnormalities. Individuals with preexisting diseases of the heart or central nervous system may have increased susceptibility to the toxicity of excessive exposure to the product's propellant.
Skin Contact: Prolonged contact may cause skin irritation seen as redness and swelling. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may result in absorption of sufficient quantity to result in toxic effects.
Eye Contact: Liquid, aerosols and vapors of this product may be irritating and cause pain, tearing, reddening and swelling accompanied by stinging sensation and/or feeling like that of fine dust in the eye.
Ingestion: Unlikely source of exposure with a pressurized product. Ingestion can result in mental confusion, unsteady gait, dizziness, drowsiness, coma, exaggerated emotional states, disturbances in sensation and perception and muscular incoordination. May cause mouth, throat and stomach irritation and pain, nausea and vomiting. Large ingestions may be fatal.
