EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
The container headspace may contain a small amount of formaldehyde gas. This gas dissipates quickly upon opening the container. Sanding this product after hardening may generate large amounts of dust. Dust may cause upper respiratory tract, lung, eye, nasal and skin irritation.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
INHALATION: Gaseous formaldehyde may cause temporary irritation to the nose and throat. This product contains crystalline silica. Prolonged exposure to respirable crystalline silica has been known to cause silicosis, a lung disease which may be disabling.
SKIN CONTACT: Handling may cause dry skin.
EYE CONTACT: Gaseous formaldehyde may cause temporary irritation to the eyes. Dust generated during sanding of hardened product may cause mechanical eye irritation.
INGESTION: Not applicable under normal conditions of use. May result in obstruction and temporary irritation of the digestive tract.

Prolonged exposure to respirable crystalline silica has been known to cause silicosis, a lung disease which may be disabling. While there may be a factor of
individual susceptibility to a given exposure to respirable silica dust, the risk of contracting silicosis and the severity of the disease is clearly related to the amount of dust exposure and the length of time (usually years) of exposure. Exposure associated with most uses of this product(s) should be well below the permissible exposure limits.

Crystalline Silica: Inhaled crystalline silica in the form of quartz or cristobalite from occupational sources is classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as carcinogenic to humans (Group 1A). The National Toxicology Program (NTP) classifies respirable crystalline silica as a known human carcinogen. Crystalline silica is not considered to be a human carcinogen by OSHA.
California Prop 65: Airborne particles of respirable size of crystalline silica are known to the State of California to cause cancer. Worker exposure testing conducted by Georgia-Pacific on various industrial gypsum products did not demonstrate an exposure to respirable crystalline silica.

INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If persistent irritation, severe coughing or breathing difficulty occurs, get medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash affected areas with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
EYE CONTACT: Remove contact lenses. Flush eyes, including under eyelids, with large amounts of water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
INGESTION: May result in obstruction if ingested. Get medical attention.

Handling/Disposal
|

Do not store outside or in direct sunlight. Carefully open container to avoid breathing possible fumes. When compound has been completely used, discard container. Do not reuse container.

This product is not considered hazardous waste under Federal Hazardous Waste Regulations 40 CFR 261. Please be advised, however, state and local requirements for waste disposal may be different from federal regulations.
Dispose of as inert solid in landfill or by other procedures in accordance with local, state, federal or provincial regulations.
