Health Effects

Eye and Skin Irritant.
Harmful if swallowed.
Contains 2-Butoxyethanol, Sodium metasilicate and Monoethanolamine. Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear latex or rubber gloves. Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Remove any clothing that has been in contact with this material and wash thoroughly.
First Aid: Eye contact. Flush immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes, then seek medical attention. Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. If irritation results, seek medical attention. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting, seek medical attention. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Note: Do not reuse container. Dispose of container and content's residue in accordance with federal, state and local waste disposal. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for further information.

Primary Routes of Entry: Ingestion and direct skin/eye contact.
Target Organs: Skin and Eyes.
Effects of Overexposure: Skin and Eyes: Contact with eyes will cause severe irritation. Prolonged contact with skin will cause irritation.
Inhalation: Normal end-product use does not present an inhalation hazard.
Ingestion: With an LD50 or greater than 5 gm/kg, product is not considered toxic, but irritation of the mouth, throat, and gastrointestinal tract can be expected.
Medical conditions generally aggravated by exposure: Existing skin condition.

Special Handling and Use Information:
Ventilation: Normal, ambient air circulation or ventilation is adequate.
Respiratory Protection: Should not be required.
Skin and Eye Protection: Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Spectacle-type glasses and latex or rubber gloves are recommended. Contaminated clothing should be immediately removed and not re-worn until laundered. While on bended knees, do not kneel in product or solution of product.
Special Precautions:
Precautions to be taken in handling and Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Keep from freezing.

Waste Disposal Method: Since the pH can exceed 12.5, undiluted product would be classified as corrosive waste under RCRA regulations. Do not reuse container. Dispose of container and any unused contents in accordance with Federal, State and Local Waste Disposal Regulations. Do not flush unused contents or residue down drains.
