caAERS Opens in New Window: caAERS   The Cancer Adverse Event Reporting System (caAERS) captures and manages reports describing adverse events that occur during clinical trials.
  • Allows local collection, management, and querying of adverse event data (routine and serious)
  • Supports regulatory compliance
Patient Study Calendar Opens in New Window: Patient Study Calendar   The Patient Study Calendar (PSC) enables clinical trial managers to schedule and manage treatment and care events for each participant in a clinical trial.
  • Accommodates epidemiological (and population) studies, observational studies and interventional studies
  • Represents study workflow in time, process, and phases
  • Represents event-driven and date-driven behaviors
  • Facilitates easy management of the screening process, registration, active monitoring, and long-term follow-up
C3PR Opens in New Window: C3PR   Cancer Central Clinical Participant Registry (C3PR) tracks subject registrations to clinical trials.
  • Provides repository for participant information across studies, sites, systems, and organizations
  • Provides current enrollment statistics
caXchange Opens in New Window: caXchange   Cancer Data Exchange (caXchange) facilitates automatic capture of clinical laboratory data from clinical systems, with automatic translation and import to caBIG™-compatible clinical trials databases
  • Enables translation of multiple source data formats into standards-compliant data for use
  • Facilitates the mapping of clinical laboratory data and its transfer to clinical trials systems
  • Delivers clinical laboratory data in HL7 version 3 format, the emerging standard
CTODS Opens in New Window: CTODS   The Clinical Trials Object Data System (CTODS) enables storing, viewing and sharing of clinical trials data in both identifiable and de-identified form.
  • Enables data from any data source to be available to the cancer research community
  • Provides clinical research partners with identifiable clinical trials data (as permitted)
  • Provides the broader cancer research community with de-identified clinical trials data (data that have all patient identification information removed)
  • Features CTODS Lab Viewer, which allows users to query and view lab data and export labs to caAERS and CDMS via caXchange
caGrid Opens in New Window: caGrid   caGrid is a service-oriented architecture and federation that connects caBIG™-compatible systems together regardless of where they are installed.
  • Query across data resources installed in different locations
  • Automatically integrate comparable data from different sources
  • Create workflow pipelines for data retrieval and analysis using resources across the grid
