About the caGrid Knowledge Center

The caGrid Knowledge Center is an NCI-supported resource led by The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and OSU Biomedical Informatics Department, with the University of Chicago and the Argonne National Lab. The Knowledge Center provides a centralized information resource for the caGrid community (that includes you!). Key services provided by the Knowledge Center include:

  • Providing expertise on caGrid
  • Maintaining technical and end-user documentation
  • Fostering open source development of caBIG™ tools
  • Collecting and monitoring defect reports, feature requests, and end-user requirements

caGrid Knowledge Center Mission

Foster the caGrid community by sharing knowledge on the benefits and technical details of the caGrid and collaborating with high-impact scientific projects. The Knowledge Center has three primary aims:

  1. Provide comprehensive documentation, tutorials, FAQs, and a knowledge base to meet self-service information needs.
  2. Provide caGrid expertise and knowledge via collaboration with high-value and high-impact scientific projects to demonstrate the value proposition for using caGrid.
  3. Foster a dynamic, active caGrid community by promoting knowledge sharing among community members. Promote awareness and reuse of community projects and technologies that use and extend caGrid.
