4/3/2008 11:05:43 PM This is a must-have for the patient, family members, friends, collegues of any person with SCD . Research into your medical problem is a must in order that you understand your medical condition and all of the ramifications with regard to the importance of treatment and preventative measures makes this booklet even more valuable. As a patient with Sickle Thalessemia, I have tried to keep myself educated re my condition and the complications that can result. I found this pamphlet in @2000, lost it and have now found it again. It contains even more information now than in the past for which I am grateful. Thank you to all the Contributors for making this truly valuable and important document available to us and keeping it updated. I am sharing it with everyone I know and especially to my fellow suffferers of SCD.
