Current Topics in Genome Analysis 2008

A lecture series covering contemporary areas in genomics and bioinformatics

January 15 - April 22, 2008

Course Continuing Medical Education Credit

The NIH/FAES is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The NIH/FAES designates this educational activity for a maximum of 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

You may only claim CME credits for lectures you attended in person, either in the Lipsett Amphitheatre or at one of the teleconferencing sites. You may not claim CME credits for watching the archived Webcasts or the DVDs.

CME Educational Objectives of the Current Topics in Genome Analysis Lecture Series

  1. Assess the value and benefit of using genomic approaches in modern biomedical research;
  2. Practice the use of bioinformatics-based approaches; and
  3. Evaluate and integrate genomic and bioinformatic techniques into their own basic or clinical research program.
