Inhalation: Unlikely to occur because of the physical nature of the product. No effects are listed in the manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation. Some clinical reports suggest a low potential for sensitization upon exaggerated exposure to sodium hypochlorite, particularly on damaged or irritated skin. Eye Contact: Eye irritant. Ingestion: No effects are listed in the manufacturer's MSDS.

MSDS states that occasional clinical reports suggest a low potential for skin sensitization upon exaggerated exposure to sodium hypochlorite if skin damage (e.g., irritation) occurs during exposure. Routine clinical tests conducted on intact skin found no sensitization in the test subjects.
The MSDS provides no other information about chronic health effects resulting from prolonged or frequent use of this product.

Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after direct contact. For sensitive skin or prolonged or repeated exposure, wear nitrile, neoprene or natural rubber gloves.
Product reacts with other household chemicals such as acid toilet bowl cleaners, rust removers, acids, vinegar, and ammonia-containing products to produce hazardous gases such as chlorine and chlorinated compounds. pH ~13

Small household amounts may be disposed of by flushing down the drain with plenty of water. Rinse container and replace cap before discarding. Do not reuse empty container.
