CAMPAIGN PARTNERS

The National Institutes of Health through the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) developed the Know Stroke campaign to help educate the public about the symptoms of stroke and the importance of getting to the hospital quickly.

NINDS has developed several strategic partnerships with national and local organizations to help carry this message.

Partners include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the National Alliance for Hispanic Health (NAHH), the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), the American Stroke Association (ASA), and the National Stroke Association (NSA). Campaign partners distribute stroke materials and/or hold Know Stroke awareness programs in many communities throughout the United States.

Many organizations have the opportunity to raise awareness of stroke symptoms and treatment. The section below will help potential partners find ways to share stroke information with their communities.
