1. Human Capital Planning and Management
Recruit, hire, develop, and deploy a talented and diverse workforce that has the competencies to successfully achieve the NIH mission and goals
2. Data-Driven Decision Making
Increase the use of objective, valid, current and past business information as the foundation for issue/program analysis, problem solving and decision making to support improved business operations and the achievement of NIH mission excellence
3. Risk Management
Develop and implement a systematic and continuous risk management program that is designed to proactively identify, mitigate, reduce and/or eliminate risks and enable the achievement of the NIH mission
4. Communications
Enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and timeliness of internal NIH administrative communications to improve two-way information exchange between and within the OM and Institutes and Centers (ICs)
