Biographical Sketch: Marion Zatz, Ph.D.

Dr. Zatz is chief of the Developmental and Cellular Processes Branch in the NIGMS Division of Genetics and Developmental Biology. In this position, she manages grants that promote research in the areas of human embryonic stem cells, cell cycle control, and programmed cell death. In addition, Zatz manages interdisciplinary predoctoral training grants that foster  training of biomedical scientists with a special emphasis on increasing the representation of minorities in biomedical research careers.
