Hi Valerio,
Note that using it for ANALYZE was not the original intention,
and calling that function is optional (via the 'check' flag
passed to nifti_read_header). Also, it has been used to catch
files that were supposed to have the magic string filled.
But still, that is a valid point. The current set of tests
does apply to either type of header (aside from the magic test),
and they really should be made available to use on an ANALYZE
dataset.
I will make a change for this, and add a better test on the
datatype, now that the types are stored in a table.
