Note that version 1.0.0 of nifticlib has been released,
and is available at sourceforge or from the nifti site:

http://nifti.nimh.nih.gov/pub/dist/data/Clibs.tgz

The major version change (from 0 to 1) is because of
adding more ability to handle large datasets (> 2GB).
