The National Biospecimen Network (NBN) Blueprint could not have been completed without the generous assistance of more than 100 participants who willingly volunteered their expertise and insights. In addition to those who participated in discussions on the integration of the document at the NBN Design Team and Advisors Meeting in Bethesda, MD (Appendix F), the following experts contributed substantively to this document: Lucille L. Adams-Campbell, Jules Berman, Col. Kenneth Bertram, Marianna Bledsoe, Andrea Califano, José Costa, Martin Ferguson, David Fitzgerald, Michael Katz, David Kerr, Kim Lyerly, Mary McCabe, Mark McGrath, Alan Rabson, Cathy Ratcliffe, and Sheila Taube. Special thanks are due in particular to Roger Aamodt, Alan Buckler, Dan Crichton, William Grizzle, and Julie Kaneshiro for their detailed comments on earlier drafts of the Blueprint. Curran, Allan Erickson, Matt Mangan, Mark Mendenhall, Hal Moses, and Andrew von Eschenbach, affiliates of the NDC, is gratefully acknowledged. Special acknowledgements are extended to Anna D. Barker, Kenneth Buetow, Gregory Downing, Julie Schneider, and Andrew von Eschenbach with the NCI for their extraordinary dedication and expert direction throughout the NBN Blueprint development process, and to Travis Earles and Tracey Nathaniel for their administrative assistance.
