Clinical Proteomic Technologies Initiative for Cancer

Repository Requests

Mouse models of human cancer offer many distinct opportunities to optimize procedures for profiling major human cancers. The NCI Mouse Proteomic Technologies Initiative, is a team-based effort designed to use these animal models to develop and standardize technologies that help improve the accurate measurement of proteins and peptides linked to cancer processes in order to accelerate biomarker discovery.  Remaining samples from this initiative are available to the research community through a biorepository (Kelly-Spratt et al., J Proteome Res. 2008 Aug;7(8):3613-8).

Access to the biorepository may be obtained using the request form below.  You will be notified by e-mail if your request has been accepted.  After access is approved, then request(s) for samples may be submitted directly through the biorepository.  Because this is a finite resource, the NCI may not be able to satisfy all requests for samples.  The NCI reserves the right to deny requests that are deemed incompatible with the mission and goals of the NCI.  For questions, please contact Dr. Chris Kinsinger.  Phone: 301-496-1550.
