CGEMS Prostate Cancer Data

For the prostate cancer study, the genome-wide association studies (GWAS) has been conducted in a large, national study known as Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovary study (PLCO). The analysis includes 1,177 individuals who developed prostate cancer during the observational period and 1,105 individuals who did not develop prostate cancer during the same time period. The prostate scan has been conducted in two parts, Phase 1A and Phase 1B. The genotypes and pre-computed analysis results of Phase 1A using the Illumina 317K chip and Phase 1B using the Illumina 240K chip for prostate cancer are now available through this portal. The combined data set is Phase 1 with nearly 550,000 SNPs per subject.
