The internet is one of the greatest technological advances of our time.  But it has also spurred a network of sick individuals who prey upon and exploit our children.  More must be done to help defend the most vulnerable in our society

When the PROTECT Our Children Act of 2007 came to the House floor for a vote, it passed with my full support by a vote of 415-2.  This legislation will establish a Special Counsel within the Office of Attorney General for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction, increase resources for regional computer forensic labs, and increase the ability of law enforcement officers to investigate and prosecute child predators. It is now up to the Senate to act.
