LINCOLN DAVIS ASKS AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT TO APPROVE BREDESEN'S DISASTER DESIGNATIONApril 18, 2007
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis signed onto a letter urging Agriculture Secretary Michael Johanns to approve Governor Bredesen's request for an agricultural disaster declaration for all 95 counties across Tennessee. The request for a disaster declaration is the result of the effects of an early freeze that began April 4 and ended recently.
Rep. Davis is Tennessee's sole member on the House Agriculture Committee.
