4th District Issues

Energy

We need an energy policy that is reflective of our current demands and future needs. To reach the ambitious goal of becoming energy independent we should utilize domestic supplies of oil, invest in the research and development of alternative and renewable sources and then build the infrastructure needed to support them. The issue is not just about supplying our country with energy; it is also a national security, environmental, economic, and jobs issue.

Davis serves on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development and the House Science Committee.
