The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has an important mission, one unprecedented in scope, to assist in building Iraq's infrastructure in support of the Global War on Terror.

The Corps needs qualified civilian employees to meet this high-priority mission. The Corps is seeking individuals who want to be challenged every day in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

The Gulf Region Division's South District is seeking the following professionals:

Program Manager Civil Engineer
Construction Area Engineer Electrical Engineer
Budget Analyst Engineering Technician
Contracting Specialist Mechanical Engineer
Contracting Officer Project Engineer
Internal Auditor Construction Representative
Safety Officer Construction Resident Engineer
Program Analyst Resource Manager
Project Specialist Public Affairs Officer

Pay and Entitlements:

All employees receive full health, life, and retirement benefits. 

In addition to basic salary, employees receive an additional 35% of base pay for danger pay compensation, a post differential at 35% of base pay, and paid overtime.

A relocation incentive is authorized at 12.5% for a 6-month assignment; 25% for a 12-month assignment.

Rest and recuperation trips back to the United States are based on the length of assignment.
